Massey Ferguson is proud to be involved in an exciting new campaign this month that puts food and farming firmly in the spotlight.
The new campaign “Trust the Tractor” from Red Tractor Assurance will aim to develop consumer trust in their food by raising awareness of the farm and food assurance benefits that the Red Tractor logo provides. It will be encouraging shoppers to look for the Red Tractor logo when purchasing their food. This is also a chance for the general public to understand why farming matters and how important it is to support the UK farming community.
Lindsay Haddon, Advertising and Sales Promotion Manager for Massey Ferguson explains “This is a fantastic opportunity for us to promote what we do as a company, it’s not just about machine manufacturing, we help to feed the world. It’s so important that we support local producers. We want to help make a difference and show that we are backing farmers 100%.”
Red Tractor’s campaign is supported by musician, farmer and food writer Alex James and aims to show shoppers how broad and versatile the logo is, while giving them confidence in the food they are buying.
Alex says: “Now, more than ever, we want assurance that the food we are buying for our families comes from a reliable and responsible source. The Red Tractor logo gives assurances that a product meets responsible production standards and is traceable back to independently inspected farms.”
As part of the campaign, Red Tractor and Alex James are urging consumers to look out for the logo on-pack and in-store and sign up to a monthly Trust The Tractor newsletter, which will be full of exclusive offers and competitions from Red Tractor licensees, retailers and industry partners.
