It was smiles all round when Mr Gareth Owen of Newtown took delivery of a brand new MF 5610 and loader recently.
Mr Owen entered a competition at the 2012 Dairy event to win the use of a Massey Ferguson tractor for six months or 500 hours. Those hours may go quickly as this proud winner is already getting the most out of his machine.
Being one of the first people in the UK to experience this powerful beast he explained to us “The visio roof is excellent for unloading straw lorries and for placing in the barn. It is very versatile around the yard and has fantastic manoeuvrability. I am looking forward to using the tractor throughout the summer, we’ve got a busy time ahead and I think that this machine is going to be able to tackle a big range of tasks.” Mr Owen A winning combination has a new home continued by telling us "I am also extremely happy with the driver's kit provided by Massey Ferguson, which really was the icing on the cake!"
Mr Owen and his prize tractor will be looked after by Ceri Morris of dealership RVW Pugh, who personally handed over the keys with the help of Massey Ferguson’s Area Sales manager Andrew Purnell.
Ceri Morris of Pugh’s tells “As a new member of RVW Pugh Ltd sales team I have been delighted to handover the new MF 5610 and loader for Mr Owen's use in the next 6 months. I will be visiting Mr Owen on a regular basis to see how he's progressing. I'm sure that the next six months will fly by as the seasons change. It would be good to think that RVW Pugh Ltd will be able to leave the MF5610 in its new home beyond the six months!”
